This tutorial is for Adobe Photoshop.

Take whatever image you desire and place it in Photoshop. The image I'm using is below.

Add a white border around the edge, making the bottom edge wider than the rest.

Add another border around the edge of the other in a different colour and make it transparent.

Go to Blending Options, then Stroke.

Make a 1px Bborder in a dark brown colour.

Select the Eraser Tool and change the brush to the Star Brush and change the Angle Jitter to 100%

Go around the edges of the image roughly with the eraser.

Take some brushes to add a few splodges and marks.

To finish it off, you can either make the image sepia, tilt it or even add some tape, pins or paperclips, or just leave it as it is :)
